One of the ways we demonstrate this commitment is through our annual Idealday. This special volunteering event unites our employees across different countries in a series of community service activities, aimed at nurturing our environment and making a positive impact on society.
For this year’s Idealday, we organized a series of meaningful activities across Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, and Romania. Through these efforts, we aim to make a substantial difference in our local communities.
In Lithuania, our team focused on the revival of the Vilnius Japanese Garden. Armed with gardening tools, our employees spent the day weeding and planting trees, giving this green oasis spruce up. Their hard work ensured that the garden remains a peaceful retreat for everyone in the city, reflecting our commitment to preserving local green spaces.
Meanwhile, in Poland, our team took on the environmental challenge of cleaning up the forest and tourist area along the Vistula River. They rolled up their sleeves and tackled the litter that was spoiling the beauty of this natural landmark. In doing so, they demonstrated their commitment to preserving Warsaw’s natural beauty for city residents and tourists to enjoy.
In Hungary, our team members showed their compassion for our furry friends by visiting a local animal shelter. They spent the day walking dogs and caring for kittens, providing much-needed love and attention to these animals. This act of kindness not only improved the lives of the shelter animals but also showcased our belief in the importance of caring for all living beings.
Over in Romania, the team worked tirelessly to transform a local park into a cleaner, greener space. Their efforts resulted in a rejuvenated public area, ready to be enjoyed by everyone in the community. This initiative highlighted our commitment to creating sustainable, clean, and green spaces for all.
Idealday 2024 provided an opportunity for our employees to make a difference in their communities. However, our commitment doesn’t end there.
