“IdealDay 2025”: Nature and community spirit

At the end of June, Edenred teams across Central and Eastern Europe rolled up their sleeves, stepped outside the office and got into one of our favorite traditions – Edenred IdealDay. It’s more than just an annual volunteer event. It’s a celebration of purpose, unity, and action. And this year, it was nothing short of inspiring.

From peaceful forest paths in Romania to the historic heart of Vilnius, from the banks of the Vistula River to donation centres in Hungary, our teams showed what community spirit looks like in motion. Here’s a look at how each location made their mark:

Romania: Reconnecting with Nature
With gloves on and garbage bags in hand, our Romanian colleagues took to a nearby forest trail. The mission: remove litter, preserve natural beauty, and reconnect with the great outdoors.

Poland: Preserving Riverbank
IdealDay in Poland has become synonymous with stewardship of the Vistula River, and this year was no exception. Our team returned to the river and surrounding green spaces to tidy up, clear debris, and enhance the experience for residents and visitors alike.

Lithuania: Bringing Brilliance to Vilnius Castle Complex
In Vilnius, our team took on the task of revitalizing one of the city’s most iconic historical sites – the Castle Complex. The efforts of 50 volunteers brought new life to the Castle Complex, cleaned surrounding riverbanks.

Hungary: Giving the Gift of Life
Few acts of service carry deeper impact than donating blood, and our Hungarian team chose to offer exactly that. In collaboration with local healthcare centres, colleagues lined up to give back.

IdealDay has always been about more than volunteer work. It’s about connection — to our environment, to our communities, and to each other.
