If you are an international freight transport company registered in the EU, you can reclaim partial excise duty on diesel fuel purchased in Belgium.
Important: the unladen weight of the vehicle must be at least 7.5 tons.
To be eligible for a refund, your company must be registered with the Belgian tax authorities. If needed, our specialists will assist you in completing the required forms. The Belgian tax office usually confirms registration within 3-5 months. Please note that the refund is only available from the date of registration approval.
