France Excise Duty Refund
If you are an international freight transport company registered in the EU, you can reclaim partial excise duty on diesel fuel purchased in France.
Important: the unladen weight of the vehicle must be at least 7.5 tons.
Important exception: The French Tax Authority has announced that, as of 1 January 2026, the refundable excise duty rate in the Corsica region will be 0,1421 €/l.
